Ultimate Objective
The Executive Sponsor is comfortable leading the team in the OKR framework implementation, so management time is aligned with goals, and employees do less of "their own thing."
Assess the true limits of the L2 and L3 teams.
Specific Challenge Areas
- Getting sidetracked in these meetings
- Getting people comfortable, especially when answers are unclear
- Inviting shy, reserved contributors to share
- Helping others realize stretch goals
- Building accountability across the team, i.e. marketing KPIs
- Measuring marketing efforts and outcomes
- Synchronizing KPIs with OKRs
- Shifting leaders away from doing and into thinking
Implementation Requirements
- Meetings must be a maximum of two hours long. Likely the majority of meetings are in-person with some virtual.
- Expect little progress over holidays.
- Consider a team offsite in Q1.
